For those of you in Austin, you very well know that ACL is just around the corner! But I know there are lots of other music festivals on the scene this fall all around the nation. And I’ve already heard some grumblings about stress regarding what to wear to these mega-music events. Dressing for music festivals is complicated, and we feel pressure when we see pictures of Kendall Jenner or Gigi Hadid at Coachella. They look INCREDIBLE.
But so can you! I’ve put together four foolproof looks for fall music festivals that I thought of with YOU in mind.
Here are some things I considered when thinking of these outfits:
- Lightweight: it is still hot out there! Where my Texas girls at?!
- Comfortable: you’ll be sitting down on the grass while you wait for your favorite artists to come on AND you’re in the same outfit for 12 hours – gotta be feeling comfy.
- Fall-inspired: happy first days of fall! These outfits feature trendy fall tones as well as styles to show that you’re feeling boho but also still looking forward to fall.
DENIM BUTTON FRONT SKIRT + OFF SHOULDER TOP + GOLD TENNIES:
The tennies really make this outfit comfy, I don’t think you can go wrong with the a-line skirt either.
FLORAL MAXI SKIRT + TIE-FRONT DENIM SHIRT + LACE UP SANDALS:
Flowy, breezy but also a bit sexy with the tie-front shirt. It wouldn’t be a music festival if you didn’t show some skin!
FLORAL COLD SHOULDER TOP + CORDUROY SKIRT + ANKLE BOOTIES:
This look is SO fall ready. I’m loving both the texture and mustard yellow tone of this skirt. It pairs so nicely with a loose, lightweight cold shoulder top! Finish it off with a studded pair of boots and fringe-y crossbody bag.
TANK FLORAL MAXI DRESS + FRINGE VEST + GLADIATOR SANDALS:
Although this outfit may seem simple, it has a lot of oomph. Get those ethereal vibes with the flowing tiered hem of the maxi dress and then add a hippie edge with the fringe vest. The knee-high gladiators just take this outfit to next level: mastery of ACL style.
