The temps in Dallas are finally matching up with my content calendar for the blog – NICE. I’m so excited to share some very easy and cute fall outfits that you can just throw on and go. There’s nothing worse than waking up and stressing about what you’re going to wear for the day, so that’s why I like my work outfits to be super simple with room for accessorizing. I’ll wear a different jacket, earrings, or something to rethink the outfit in a different way for the next week! Now I do want to mention that I work in a pretty casual office where we can wear jeans. For those of you that work in a more formal setting, I’ll include tips to make these fall work outfits a pinch more formal :).
5 EASY FALL WORK OUTFITS:
Chambray + Black Denim:
Go ahead and consider a chambray button down as a must-have staple for your fall work outfits. Pair it with skirts, jeans, or slacks for a more business casual office setting. You can’t mess it up! I really love the button front detail of these jeans because they add an edge to what could normally be just boring black denim. The frayed hem is also another good option to consider because it’s not as noticeable as ripped jeans yet still edgy.
Shirt | Jeans (I size down to a 27 in Madewell) | Shoes (TTS in size 7) | Bag (linking dupe here) | Earrings
Blazer + Crop Flare Jeans:
Tee + Jeans + Blazer = the easiest equation for fall work outfits. The blazer and loafers add a more formal edge to the look while you’re still staying comfy in jeans and a tee. I think this look could work for a casual Friday at a more formal office or the jeans could be swapped for some tailored slacks.

Dress + Cardigan:
This is THE best work dress EVER (and only $46!). It’s so easy to pair with so many different shoes and jackets. I love to wear it with this chunky cardigan and block heel sandals or booties. I think this could be great for a more formal office setting if you swapped the shoes for pointy toe pumps and a blazer if the cardi is too casual.
Faux Leather Skirt + Blazer + Booties:
I just wore this to work, and I loved how “fall” it felt! You’ll also be seeing more of these western booties. They hit low enough on the ankle to wear with skirts and dresses because they don’t cut your leg off at a weird spot like other higher boots. Business casual girls: consider a longer faux leather pencil skirt and heeled booties or block heels to replicate this look.
Tee | Blazer | Skirt (I went with the size size 6 (like a 2-4) which is an exact fit so I recommend going up a size if you want a little more room)/ (pencil skirt option here) | Booties (TTS in size 7 for Marc Fisher)
Tee + Denim + Sleeveless Vest:
This might just be one of the easiest fall work outfits to put together in this whole blog post! A sleeveless vest makes any look instantly chic. And slide-on mules are such a staple in my closet because they’re so easy to throw on to complete an outfit and then head out the door. For a more formal office setting, swap the distressed denim for cropped tailored slacks and leather loafers or pointy toe pumps.
